TRILOS TR50M is a compact benchtop three roll mill designed for laboratory research, formulation development, and small-scale sample preparation. Despite its compact dimension, TR50M delivers professional-level dispersion performance, making it an ideal tool for R&D engineers and laboratory technicians.

With stepless speed control and manually adjustable roll gaps, TR50M allows precise control over shear force and accuracy. Depending on material properties, particle sizes below 5 μm can be achieved with excellent uniformity and reproducibility.

Fine Dispersion Accuracy

TR50M delivers high shear forces capable of reducing particle size to below 5 μm, ensuring uniform particle distribution and stable dispersion quality. This level of precision is essential for R&D validation, formulation screening, and process optimization.                     

Space-Saving Benchtop Design

Light Weight Carbon Fiber Housing

Flexible Ceramic Roller Options

Rollers are manufactured from high-performance ceramic materials and can be customized to match material sensitivity and processing requirements:

  •  Zirconia (ZrO₂): Smooth surface, high toughness, extremely low metal contamination. Ideal for advanced materials and pharmaceutical formulations.
  •  Alumina (Al₂O₃): High hardness, moderate surface roughness, suitable for inks and coatings with lower purity requirements.
  •  Silicon Carbide (SiC): Extremely high hardness and wear resistance, suitable for abrasive or high-viscosity materials with minimal contamination risk.

High-Reliability Roller

The ceramic rollers are precision-ground and paralleled to ensure long-term operational stability. The rollers resist deformation, fracture, and misalignment even under extended operating conditions.

Manual Control

Stepless speed regulation and gap adjustment allow operators to fine-tune roll speed and roll gap.
